Every Fricken Friday Morning – PV Hills
Warm and muggy, but still cooler that 3 digits. nice group for the holiday weekend. No angry walkers today. At least 2 flats, one on the top of hill four and one on the way back. Somebody stoked the fire for the fast train at McDowell and we flew at speeds above 30 and made the light on Curry. Great work! Welcome to Kirby’s friend Brian, 1st timer.

The Friday Ride rolls again. Our friend that yells at us while holding his coffee had his dog running loose for us as we rolled down hill #3. Nick, our friday rider who is also a phoenix police officer, “talked” to him. I wish I was there to hear the conversation… The sprint was a pack of 9 that made the light on McDowell. We all got stopped at the light on Curry and once again POW right from the green light it was all out pain, as hard as you can go. Aaron championed through and stayed on Justin long enough to get around him when he faded towards the end. Great riding guys and gals!! If you have pictures, email them over.

A little warm this morning but still a good turnout. Chuck went solo early (after we passed Curry) and the traffic gods were good to him as he took hill 1 uncontested. Hoss missed the shot.

Pan Mass ride was incredible, and now I just need to reach my fundraising goal, about $500 more for the children. The monkey stays on my head, till I get over the top. Help Todd get the Monkey off his head!!! Or, help the monkey get rid of Todd..

We hit a red light on Curry and when green popped up Justin was off like a bat outta hell and no one could catch him across the bridge..even though his shoe came out of his pedal.
Also we’re wishing well for Joe Struttmann who’s recuperating after a gnarly bike crash last Sunday. We missed you today and look forward to seeing you out soon.
