Every Fricken Friday Morning – PV Hills
What a beautiful morning… finally! Last week was 32 degrees in the rain for the two that showed up! Hoss and Chuck braved it out and Chuck took a triple crown while Hoss was slowed down by stuck shifters.
Justin rides again… it was good to see him back on the bike again. We still had a small group, but that didn’t make it easier or slower. Alan hitched a ride up hill 3 and probably set a new KOM, but will have no cadence and a low HR 🙂

The rain always freshens up the air, but the roads were a bit slippery. No one yelled at us riding through the Tempe Festival of the Arts. Only 9 riders started out, no one was on the corner. Justin was back on the bike and recouping with Vato at the Buddha. Kirk flatted his front tubular.
The big news is that Chuck tripled crowned with all four hills and the sprint!
yes… still alive and riding! The Friday Ride is a little leaner in the cold months, but there is always a Friday Ride!

Full moons are always cool to see in the morning. Awesome weather! good group. dropped my light and it was ran over by the time I found it.
The biggest excitement was an ambulance and firetruck were waiting on the bottom of 56th when we were finished with all the hills. Turns out there was a lady covered in a white sheet in an automatic wheelchair/bed that we saw on the way up. The hikers called it in and the medic on the scene said that they took here in, she was incoherent, but had to leave the wheelchair/bed there told us to ride it out of there. We laughed and declined.

Nice and cool weather! Welcome back to Rudy! New guy Stephen killed it, without knowing the end of the hills, just kept at it. Only one dropped and cracked phone today.
