The ride started out great, nice and easy, not too fast. The lights kept us together, no breakaways. Near the top of the first hill I heard a loud chank and looked over as Vlads chain broke and started dragging on the road. I knew I had an extra link so I stayed behind..Hoss, Todd, and I coached Vlad on, not wanting to touch that greasy chain. What a mess! The only consolation is that we didn’t have to do hill 3!!
We had some surprise appearances this morning at starbucks! Struttman dropped in with some delicious cookies and sporting a nice cane and shell. Good to see Joe up and about. Aaron rode in with his daughter Adeline (sp?) for some quality time with the FMR gang. Good times!
