Hoss missed the shot.  One very pissed off car driver (not sure why, but she contributed to the stereotype regarding red heads) coming back at 64th and McDowell, we could hear her yelling half way down McDowell.  We sang Happy Birthday to the Donkey at Starbucks, but he did not give a speech.  Matt Walker made it out and had a good time, I think we will see him some more.

Summer solstice, nice and cool until about 7:30.  Great ride! No cops this time. Hoss missed the shot, Donkey was back at it again, and the sprint was in the bag when Jay made the light solo on Curry.  Good times! Here’s a shot of Steve (Donkey) and Joe taking the first hill.

At least 30 riders on the road today!  Chalmers on his 29r. The Sheriff showed up after 7 years of missing the ride.  Hoss missed the shot. The sprint was from a stop at the light on curry.  There are some links to strava in today’s post. Sheck it out.
Don’t forget to watch the Tour of California!!

Brrr..   I don’t know how Juan starts these cold mornings with no warmers, no gloves.  Cpt. Kirk was there with his costume, everyone else forgot or didn’t have one. Good to have Bennett back on a ride. Happy 10yr Anniversary.

Sprint: Durrant (Highly protested by Chalmers!.  Alex and Durrant took the left turn on a yellow light on Galvin and Washington barely made the sprint, almost got caught by the group at the last second.  good times!)

Perfect weather!!  Cool, but not too cold.  Garret and his good looking stoker came out on the tandem!  Poor Highly got a flat on Washington at the get go.  Clint hammered hard on hill 1 driven by Strava ambitions.  The Castle and hill 3 were repaved!! nice and smooth, but hard to tell where a good line is with all the new road paving gravel.  With Chalmers on his mtn. bike, the sprint was ripe for the picking!!
